David and Rebecca seek to model in their life, marriage and ministry a Christ-like character and Spirit-filled life with a kingdom-focus. They have a passion for congregational renewal and replicating the life and ministry of Jesus in a robust Spirit-filled discipleship. They desire for the Church to become “a house of prayer” for all people (Matthew 21:13; Luke 19:45; Mark 11:17), a robust disciple-making mission-sending community (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47; John 20:21; Acts 1:8), and in the words of Rev. P. F. Bresee, to be a “center of [holy] fire” (see John 2:17; Ps. 69:9), a place where spiritual revival flourishes.
